ARUKAH

About Us

The association

ARUKAH is a Christian, interdenominational, nonprofit association established in
Bessengue, Douala, Cameroon, on 10 May 2026.
ARUKAH means “to restore” in Hebrew.

Our origins

It all began thirty years ago with an event that profoundly affected a teenage girl’s life. An exorcist priest, who had come to minister in her village in Cameroon’s Centre Region, collapsed before everyone’s eyes under the influence of a spell cast by a well-known sorcerer.
For ten years, she repeatedly questioned what had happened. The answer she eventually received from God led her to accept being born again.

After her conversion, she noticed that many of God’s promises to His children were not being fulfilled, and she began persistently asking God about this. Then, unexpectedly, she was appointed a pastor in the church she attended. Feeling neither prepared nor qualified, she was unsettled by this call to serve God. A few weeks later, acting sincerely and out of reverence for sacred matters, she decided to meet with the church’s senior leader to decline the appointment. The Lord then spoke clearly to
her, telling her that He Himself had called her to give her authority over demons.
After the Lord repeatedly urged her, she resolved to obey Him and began ministering through
intercession and deliverance. To her surprise, the results were positive!

In response to the other questions she had been asking for so long, the Lord then revealed to
her that:
“The main reason for failures in deliverance ministry is that the Church focuses on power and neglects the Law.”
He also explained that: “The problem of unanswered prayers most often stems from the Church’s lack of understanding of how God’s decisions are to be implemented.”

The Lord Jesus Christ subsequently entrusted her with a particular mission in deliverance
ministry, combining the ability to address legal matters in the spiritual realm with exceptional
power.
This is the story of Pastor Marie Louise Nangoa,

founding member and President of the
ARUKAH Association.
